Robert is a Louisville native and Saint X graduate. Growing up, he knew he was meant to serve his community through health and wellness. While working at Norton Suburban Hospital and pursuing degrees in Biology and Chinese language at the University of Louisville, Robert saw the growing need for integrative and holistic health care in Louisville — and decided to fill it.
He earned his Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. Robert also completed clinical training at the Cheng Du Traditional Chinese Hospital in Sichuan, China, where he gained hands-on experience practicing Chinese Medicine in a fully integrative medical setting — one of the few American practitioners to do so.
Robert co-founded Meridian in 2012 with his wife Karen, with a shared vision of bringing world-class Traditional Chinese Medicine home to the community that shaped them. He specializes in differential diagnostics, preventive medicine, herbal medicine, and sports medicine.
Outside the clinic, Robert is an avid gardener — he won Best Gardens from the Audubon Park Garden Society — and cultivates a growing collection of bonsai trees.
